Eligibility & Funding
Applicants should have, or hope to have, a 2:1 (or equivalent) in a cognate physical sciences or engineering discipline, such as physics, materials science, electrical engineering, chemistry or chemical engineering.
Each studentship covers fees and a maintenance stipend at the current EPSRC rate (14k approx). Additionally, CDT students benefit from funding for travel and mobility between the institutions as well as to conferences. Each student also has significant individually tailored research project expenses.
If you have any queries about eligibility please contact Brenda Morris, in the first instance.
Applications will be considered as they are received and offers will be made on an ongoing basis until all places for 2017 have been allocated, after which a reserve list will be operated.
